Asmita is a GIS professional with 6 years of experience in GIS and Remote sensing, currently working as a Programme Coordinator – GIS and Stakeholder Engagements at MP Ensystems. She is skilled in ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, and QGIS, with expertise in urban planning, data mapping, image processing, and navigation systems. Asmita holds a Bachelor's degree in Geography from Goa University, a Master's in Geography from Mumbai University, and an MTech in Geoinformatics from Bharathidasan University, Tamil Nadu.
Asmita has been actively involved in the Greening of the Rural Value Chain (GRVC) project, supporting sustainable rural development by identifying renewable energy interventions across Agri-value chains. She also contributes to the Mobility initiative, working on GIS-based siting for electric vehicle charging infrastructure (EVCI), route optimization, and stakeholder engagements.
