Barve has over 40 years of experience working with multinational companies such as Areva Ltd., Rockwell Automation and Tata Honeywell in marketing electrical and Automation products and systems. In addition he has served as Senior Director-Operations at the Indian Electrical and Electronics Manufacturers’ Association (IEEMA) for around 14 years. During this period he has worked closely with Ministry of Power and assisted BEE in the initial stages of establishing standards and Labeling programme for Industrial products like Distribution Transformers, Motors, and Agricultural Pumps. He has also assisted several SMEs in organization restructuring and strategic management and has been associated with various NGOs in formulating strategies for energy conservation activities. Mr. Barve is registered Chartered Engineer and holds a Bachelors’ degree in Electrical Engineering from IIT Bombay. He is also a member of Indian Valuation Society.
