Dr. Koshy Cherail

Dr. Koshy has over 35 years of experience in energy and renewables sectors focusing on research and analysis of policies to switch from conventional fuels to cleaner energy sources, integrating renewable energy and adopting sustainable business practices. His consulting experience includes working with World Bank, UNEP, USAID and GTZ among others. His focus has been on matching energy efficiency and clean technology products and services to meet the needs of intensive energy users and enabling industries to green their supply chain.  

Dr. Koshy had a long stint as President of AEEE (www.aeee.in) the association of energy technology equipment, system-integrators and service providers in India (2007-2018). He supported the emergence of AEEE as a business networking platform connecting SMEs, ESCOs, large industries and associations, the power utilities, banks and government bodies.  Koshy has a PhD in Economics from University of Madras (1990)
